Leave few original masterpieces as the way they look, sound or taste. Can there be another Mona Lisa? There is only one Leonardo Da Vinci and one Shakespeare. No movie can generate the thrill and pain of betrayal one feels when Julius Caesar asks, ” Et tu Brutus?”

I think all the movies which are based on the novels not necessarily be termed as classic ones. How can a director feel the depth, complex of emotions, confusion and mental state of characters without being associated with the story at developing stage of the plot. The writer only knows the struggle.
Chetan’ Bhagat’s Two states was very enjoyable to read but watching it on screen was a sour dish. Actors tried hard to bring the juxtaposition of two states but failed in their attempt to do so. That’s my personal view though. Same treatment was done to Amitabh Bacchan’s SHOLAY. The remake was shocking,horrible to watch and badly criticized by one and all.
Of late star chefs have started experimenting with the traditional recipes. The market is flooded with varieties of recipe books Chefs are hosting cookery shows to present old dish in a new bowl by giving a new look to the most perfectly delicious just right in aroma and texture by replacing few ingredients here and there. That does not make them successful chef.
Com on just by replacing groundnuts from Poha ( a Maharashtrian dish ideal for breakfast) and adding corns and cheese, will you call it a ‘Cheesy Poha garnished with oregano’ ! Don’t ruin the good old poha, use pasta instead of flattened rice flakes friend.
