Daily Prompt: You’ve just won $1 billion dollars in the local lottery. You do not have to pay tax on your winnings. How will you spend the money?
Oh my God ! I have unlimited funds to splurge on luxuries
I can buy, plan, afford all expensive things, just no savings
It comes with one condition though, I’m rich, only for a day
I can buy rubies, diamonds, branded purses and shoes today
The world tour is on the cards to meet my blogger friends
Oh yes ! I will go for the latest camera with a macro lens
Upgrade to a better model for a broader range, quicker focusing
Along with it I would prefer brighter apertures, wide angle lens I will keep on shooting flowers, wild life, buildings, water falls, sun set and rise
A flying bird, dancing pea-cock, a flowing river, flowers of various shapes and size
I would shop till drop, buy my traveling kit, a smart rucksack for my expeditions
Who said money cannot buy happiness, those who said didn’t know where to shop
Off course I would be feeling fancy for a day, can’t go over board, I have to stop
I read this quote and practice it, understood the futility of money, still work to earn.
(mesmerized by all the possibilities) 😯😯

I really wanted new lens for wild life photos to shoot close ups of tigers and deers but they were very expensive. I know I will buy one day. 🙂

While I’m pretty sure that that’s not what the prompt writer intended, personally, I’m right there with you. I’m ALWAYS ready for another camera, and right now, I’m yearning for a macro lens!

I really felt the need while clicking wildlife and flowers recently but it is very expensive and right now I have other priorities to invest in. Looking forward to your next click with your new acquisition. 🙂

Alas, no new acquisition right now. I’m just dreaming. Fortunately, summer is when I particularly want a macro, to shoot flowers and plants. In the winter, there’s less of that, so I can wait. I have a birthday in the spring. Maybe then.

I can also follow you with the macro lens, am planning for next year. But otherwise after buying all those things in the list, will you have time to breathe, eat and live and sleep? I would probably have to take a holiday somewhere on a desert island to relax from the stress.

Rightly so. I’m tempted to see Marilyn’s macro lens photos. Rest all is dream !
