What’s the longest you’ve ever gone without reading a book (since learning how to read, of course)? Which book was it that helped break the dry spell?
I was so keen to read booksÂ
I was a small girl with average looks
Archie’s and Marvel were among favoritesÂ
Tintin entertained me during vacations
As a teenager got loads of homeworkÂ
Still Mills and Boons grabbed my attention
A professional course, full time Fashion designer
Love, marriage and adjusting in a new environment
Took me away from the world of books, for a moment
I came with my hubby to my  first military station
Settled our new home, first married accommodation
One fine day hubby handed over me a library card
“Go, visit, issue a book, read and write a review” he passed
After looking  at all the sections, I carefully picked one
Erich Segal’s  ” The Class” was so engrossing and fun
Next was ” The Doctors” of the same author, a classic one
There was no stopping then till I read the whole fiction section
I had found my source of happiness.
