I Could Make it to Tiger Forests

“If I can make it there, I’ll make it anywhere,” goes the famous song about New York City. Is there a place — a city, a school, a company — about which you think (or thought) the same?

If I can spot a tiger in the jungle and shoot him too, I’ll make it anywhere

Believe me it was bit scary for the people present there when the wild cat appeared in front of us almost out of nowhere, then walked for about fifteen meters, crossed the jungle track and then moved on to other side of the road. We were so close to the jungle cat while sitting in the  open gypsy it seemed as if he came there to meet us.

I could manage to click a few shots, it was a sight to watch. The tiger was not affected by our presence, people were quiet, thrilled and scared at the same time, after all you can’t trust the Big Cat at the face value.

We were lucky to have two more encounters with the creatures of Feline family and they were pretty close. Managed to get a few more shots which came up to my satisfaction as an amateur  photographer. These I will share in my next post. I am happy that I could really make it to Kanha National Park, MP. for this amazing experience, the stay in Chitvan Jungle Lodge was icing on the cake. I shall share the experience in one of my next posts.
