In a reversal of Big, the Tom Hanks classic from the 80s, your adult self is suddenly locked in the body of a 12-year-old kid. How do you survive your first day back in school?
Â
An apple of my father’s eye
I was a sweet, not at all shy
School was like a second home
Though home works a big no
Maths was not my cup of tea
I was a darling, all loved me
Wasn’t afraid from day one
I had friends and all the fun
Parents were there to drop me
Grandpa picked up to pamper me
Naughty I was to create a scene
Teacher called me to wipe and clean
Came away from the incident scot-freeÂ
Now I am in the body of twelve years old
No one bullies me, I am bold
I am still the confident one
Having fun with my students
Chatting, playing, dancing around
Join my hands in the assembly ground.
Sharing tiffin with my colleaguesÂ
Laughter, jokes, teasing and giggles
Taking loads of home work back
Lesson plans, notes, assignments in sack
I am an adult going to school, without lack
