Man proposes God disposes
This is the thought which came across my mind when I sat in front of my computer to check the daily prompt yesterday evening. OMG !!! I was out of connectivity again. I checked my landline telephone which was silent, infact dead silent! As a result my broadband stopped responding and I was cut off from the e-world. By no means I was able to check the latest prompt. Grrrr….I was upset for not reading the responses of my favorite blogs, sad for not knowing what to write, prayed for early morning action from telephone department and went off to sleep 🙁
Thankfully my prayers were well received. Hey ! I got my lifeline back 🙂 I wondered how I was surviving few years back with no internet services at home. Even now we keep on facing the problem of poor connectivity, I think this is the price we have to pay to live inside the cantonment  far from the city, no satellite towers are allowed in the vincity of cantt due to security reasons. No regrets and rolling tears on this issue as we really have some advantages too like we enjoy staying in the greenest or you can say the cleanest patch of the city.
Whatever happens, happens for the best We should not think too much and take rest Meanwhile the internet came alive and as I reached the third response on the grid I was in awe ! It revived my memories of previous station where we stayed for three years and would love to be posted again anytime. My dear friend Andy of dragoneystory.wordpress.com shared a beautiful video of Cherry blossom season of his home town which he has shot beautifully. He has great sense of music and is amazing with camera. It inspired me to share these lovely photos of cherry blossom seasons of Shillong, known as “Scotland of the East”. I could not find video in my archive though it was not as great as Andy’s but very close to my heart. Transfers, packing and shifting sometimes creates everything topsy turvy no matter how organised we may be.
Hope these images will give you the idea of the movie’s music which I want to enjoy through out my life. May be I will create something like summer Paradise. How about taking help from my friend ?
Enjoy the gallery of my favorite pics Â
You can also enjoy Andy’s video with complementary music, the source of my inspiration of today’s response. In response to /dp_prompt/cue-the-violins/

Wow ! What else could I ask for? I was having the guilt and then I was grateful too. How? You will come to know once you read this post which I wrote for yesterday’s prompt and it suits Grateful and Guilty too. 🙂
Fab pics… missed your post on the grid yesterday … these more than make up for it!
P.S. what was the guilt? They look just beautiful
Guilt, I missed the prompt. Thank you so much.
gorgeous snapshots. how lovely are their names too. cherry blossom, like a two-word poem
Thank you Chris for this lovely interpretation. 🙂
I love the contrasts! here in Vancouver all the trees pretty much catch up with each other when it comes for blossom season, so it’s easy to forget what they looked like before that. I love it! 😀
I could feel that watching the video. It was amazing. 🙂
Gotta love nature 🙂
S n S, these were gorgeous and so lovely of you to share them with us! I am in the midst of ice and snow, nice to see the sun shining today, but so cold! Brr!
Enjoy the sunshine and keep on writing wonderful posts as usual. 🙂
Beauty all around. I do understand the difficulty with connection but I think I get more writing done when its down 🙂
That’s true but as I mentioned in the opening lines I was all set to write for the daily prompt and moreover it has become a habit to read the posts of my fav bloggers. I think I missed that more. Thanks for the visit and lovely comments. 🙂
