In the seventeenth century the Mughal emperor Jahangir set his eyes on the valley of Kashmir. He said that if paradise is anywhere on the earth, it is here, while living in a houseboat on Dal Lake. “Gar firdaus, ruhe zamin ast, hamin asto, hamin asto, hamin ast.”
Enjoy this beautiful landscape of Srinagar, Kashmir, India.

Thanks for sharing these great photos. I was in Srinagar 19 years ago. It’s rare to see images from this beautiful area. They brought back great memories.
I am so glad to bring smile on your face. 19 years ago it must have been real beautiful, an untouched valley with less pollution, urban development and tourism interference. 🙂
