Dedication Personified: A Dancer or A Soldier

Here is my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Barefeet and/or shoes

This image reminds me of wonderful and colorful times I had in Hornbill Festival, Kohima Nagaland. The tribal dancers were waiting for their turn to perform, got an opportunity to capture this memorable event. DSC_0463 The flow of water……Ugh! It’s cold %0A _003 Focused and dedicated, mission was to reach the summit…… FUN PHOTOS 052 Strong and resilient, a soldier never sleeps…..  100_6803   Finally my husband’s shoes which he wears everyday with pride to serve the nation. These shoes have been a testimony to harsh climatic conditions and tough times when he fought with the enemy in the deserts or treacherous mountain ranges in the call of duty. Jai Hind. DSC_4832

SLOW DOWN; YOU GOT ONE LIFE

Have you ever thought about Why slowing down is so important in life? Life is not only to run and chase the deadlines and create a million-dollar fortune. Slowing down is an art, indeed a therapy to become more mindful of your blessings of life. It means to be more present at the moment. To eliminate the stress of our lives and enjoy the simple joys that we otherwise tend to miss out on. It is a soul awakening to feel eternal happiness. This verse highlights the need of slowing down in life before it is too late.
