Time To Organise

What’s messier right now — your bedroom or you computer’s desktop (or your favorite device’s home screen)? Tell us how and why it got to that state.

Messy ? Me? Nope….. Festival time is at peak in India and we just can’t afford to be messy during this month.

In fact I celebrated Karvachauth last week and ahead is Deepawali, major festivals of our country.

Houses are done up, we are ready with decorative thals, diyas, lights, crackers and charming faces to welcome our Gods as well as guests.

305558_3958140119862_1109026854_nEverything is beautiful, white washed walls, washed terraces, painted doors, decorated balconies, new curtains, bed spreads, delicately embroidered cushion covers, sparkly shining crystal….. Well, well, living room is looking fresh and has a face lift.

What you are waiting for? Come over ! Be my guest and enjoy the mouth watering snacks, flavored kheer, juicy Jalebis yummm

My salivary glands are activated as I am extending the invitation to you all. Be part of our celebrations. 🙂

You will enjoy my today’s post where I shared my last week experiences. Have a look on my  Karvachauth mehandi and let me know how is it.  SHARING MY WORLD.

    1. Yes, I make Rangoli ( basically a geometrical or floral design drawn and filled with vibrant colors, laid out at the entrance gate to welcome Gods) every year during festivals. One can choose different mediums to fill the pattern like flower petals or colored rice etc.

    2. It depends upon the design one selects and how expert one is in this art. I must have taken 30 min to finish this. Diyas were added to make it more attractive. Thanks for appreciating the effort. 🙂

SLOW DOWN; YOU GOT ONE LIFE

Have you ever thought about Why slowing down is so important in life? Life is not only to run and chase the deadlines and create a million-dollar fortune. Slowing down is an art, indeed a therapy to become more mindful of your blessings of life. It means to be more present at the moment. To eliminate the stress of our lives and enjoy the simple joys that we otherwise tend to miss out on. It is a soul awakening to feel eternal happiness. This verse highlights the need of slowing down in life before it is too late.
