Zoom In Zoom Out !

Daily Prompt: You’ve just won $1 billion dollars in the local lottery. You do not have to pay tax on your winnings. How will you spend the money?

Oh my God ! I have unlimited funds to splurge on luxuries

I can buy, plan, afford all expensive things, just no savings

It comes with one condition though, I’m rich, only for a day

I can buy rubies, diamonds, branded purses and shoes today

The world tour is on the cards to meet my blogger friends

Oh yes ! I will go for the latest camera with a macro lens

Upgrade to a better model for a broader range, quicker focusing

Along with it I would prefer brighter apertures, wide angle lens Camera-lenses-for-wedding-photography I will keep on shooting flowers, wild life, buildings, water falls, sun set and rise

A flying bird, dancing pea-cock, a flowing river, flowers of various shapes and size

I would shop till drop, buy my traveling kit, a smart rucksack for my expeditions

Who said money cannot buy happiness, those who said didn’t know where to shop

Off course I would be feeling fancy for a day, can’t go over board, I have to stop

I read this quote and practice it, understood the futility of money, still work to earn. If-you-dont-think-youre-rich-try-counting-all-the-things-you-have-that-money-cant-buy

  1. While I’m pretty sure that that’s not what the prompt writer intended, personally, I’m right there with you. I’m ALWAYS ready for another camera, and right now, I’m yearning for a macro lens!

    1. I really felt the need while clicking wildlife and flowers recently but it is very expensive and right now I have other priorities to invest in. Looking forward to your next click with your new acquisition. 🙂

      1. Alas, no new acquisition right now. I’m just dreaming. Fortunately, summer is when I particularly want a macro, to shoot flowers and plants. In the winter, there’s less of that, so I can wait. I have a birthday in the spring. Maybe then.

  2. Haha ! I am sure my husband woudl agree with you … in fact he is such a photography freak that he has already splurged some money on his lens …. am sure he won’t mind buying more …. 😉 I like the different perspective 🙂

  3. I can also follow you with the macro lens, am planning for next year. But otherwise after buying all those things in the list, will you have time to breathe, eat and live and sleep? I would probably have to take a holiday somewhere on a desert island to relax from the stress.

SLOW DOWN; YOU GOT ONE LIFE

Have you ever thought about Why slowing down is so important in life? Life is not only to run and chase the deadlines and create a million-dollar fortune. Slowing down is an art, indeed a therapy to become more mindful of your blessings of life. It means to be more present at the moment. To eliminate the stress of our lives and enjoy the simple joys that we otherwise tend to miss out on. It is a soul awakening to feel eternal happiness. This verse highlights the need of slowing down in life before it is too late.
