If you could slow down an action that usually zooms by, or speed up an event that normally drags on, which would you choose, and why?
The events drag on and on like a never ending journey
The big fat Indian marriage, an event, no dearth of  money
Expensive venues, glittering attires, lavish cuisine, talks funny
Lots of gathering, traditions to follow, costumes flashy and sunny
Florists busy, parents exhausted, tired relatives, lost bride, bathed in honey
Groom is so pissed off,  bride runs to  beauty parlour, sisters confused runny
Directionless crowd, irritable kids, ill tempered oldies, Who’s bothered? no pace oddity
“Come closer, smile please, hold her hand !” clever photographers minting money
Is this marriage ever going to end, will bride and groom finally have moments of peace
Sitting in front of priest who is chanting mantras, dreaming of expensive gifts and money
Oh, Lord How I wish the entire scene should speed up, let this couple enjoy, they only !
Indian marriages are crazy, an event to remember, One Fat Indian Wedding is so worthy 🙂

Thanks for the interaction. I appreciate it. Somehow we make it extravagant affair. I m not in favor of such show off wealth.
इस आयॠमें तो शादी में जाने के नाम से ही बà¥à¤–ार आने लगता है. पर फिर à¤à¥€ जाना ही पड़ता है
