Time to confess: tell us about a time when you used a word whose meaning you didn’t actually know (or were very wrong about, in retrospect).
This is an honest confession. When I read about Jennifer’s one word photo challenge: Cerulean I wondered what she meant by that, I became curious to know, opened my dictionary to find out the meaning and it’s importance in Photography.
Oh, it was my favorite color ! The hues of blue in a different perspective.Â
Cerulean to me is tranquility, eternity, bliss, nature and positive light….. Cerulean is a latin word, a color term that may be applied to certain colors with the hue ranging roughly between blue and cyan, overlapping with both. It also largely overlaps with azure and sky blue. ( Google definition)
Here is my response to the CERULEAN post. I really enjoyed the whole process and thanked Jennifer for making me a learned soul. Grin :-PÂ
Enjoy the pics….

So gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing these 🙂 I’m also glad to hear you learned a new word for a gorgeous color – cerulean is my favorite as well.
Hope to learn more from your challenges. Thanks for the visit
Your photos meet the feeling of the color of cerulean! I have often had to check my dictionary for meaning, don’t feel bad about that confession!
