The harvest is plenteous, but the labourers are few. The giver is giving through unlimited hands, but our receptivity is limited. Unfortunate are those who die counting the materialistic achievements. Blessed ones fill their treasures with nature’s bounty.
There is so much a forest has on offer, just because human eyes or the camera cannot spot a animal in the frame doesn’t mean there aren’t any. It means we have a limited capability to see with our naked eyes. Nature never disappoints. For a seeker there is peace, colors, endless trails, symphony, and divine smell of the forest. A good safari is more than a sumptuous meal where all senses are more than satisfied. I prefer nature trips rather than going to over populated tourist destinations by train or planes. Something which soothes my soul and uplift my spirits.

Interesting. What do you mean by ‘divine smell of the forest?’ 🙂
The smell of wild flowers, smell of some rare varities of trees such as Sandal/Chandan , a small tropical tree one of the most aromatic tree and of course petrichor/ the smell of rain in the forest. All these are divine smell of the forest.
Nature is God itself. Forests are divine so everything related to his creation is divine for me. I mean my perception, you can have yours. Thank you for the sweet compliment.
So peaceful..I can almost hear the sounds just from the photos alone 🙂
Thanks a lot Andy. It is so serene in the woods that you don’t want to come back.
Don’t want to? 🙂
Thank you for introducing Sharad Kumar Vats’ photos. Fabulous shots!
Impressive photos of yours! That little deer is just so lovely. 🙂
My pleasure Amy. There were lots of deers but I didn’t had the perfect lens to capture wildlife.
Beautiful thoughts and beautiful pictures. Love the baboons in the wild. Those are baboons, right? They are all wonderful pictures … I just have a great fondness for pictures of animals in their natural habitat 🙂
We call them langurs, an old world monkey. They are slightly different from American or new world monkeys, capuchin. Thank you for appreciating the pictures. Regards.
Love the photos! I especially like the reflection of the tree in the water and the deerlike creature in one of the middle photos…
Thank you. There are so many which are kept in my archives. I traveled to many such places during my initial years of marriage but never thought of photography earlier. Just family pics for remembrances, that’s all. I wish I had a blog then.
It’s never too late….you’re doing quite well inspite of a late start
