One Word Photo Challenge: SCARLET
Scarlet is a bright red with a slightly orange tinge. Â In the spectrum of visible light, and on the traditional color wheel, it is one-fourth of the way between red and orange, slightly less orange than vermilion. This Google information only gives us a bland picture about scarlet.
Let’s add some fun, mood and spirit to this color of joy, passion, heat and force 🙂

Hope you all enjoyed my interpretation of scarlet…. I enjoyed it immensely putting it up for you.

A different take….Original
I like the fun you added with your scarlet photos and the strawberry designs were cute! I like the ‘royalty’ of scarlet, too. It is definitely one that Kings and Queens wore, with white ermine fur on their collars…
I really liked the poise and grace of the couple, how they projected themselves during their wedding day was so admirable. The gallery kiss was graceful too. Their son is so cute and royal 🙂
Scarlet is such a symbolic color, especially throughout the holiday season and into the new year, right through Valentine’s Day. There are so many creative possibilities.
Yes, that’s right. One can interpret colors in so many creative ways. Thanks for the beautiful comment. Keep visiting.
