Flower of the day 16.5.2016

This orangish red colored single bushy flower has bloomed in my garden as a beautiful surprise this morning. Unfortunately I don’t know the name. I guess another variety of lily or eucalyptus flower or something else? I would like to know the name please.

  1. It is one of those flowers that bloom every year from underground stems that remain dormant during hard times and bloom when the season is right. It is often seen in the North Eastern parts of India. I think it is called -Blood Lily (Scadoxus Multiflorus, Haemanthus Multifloras).
