In response to Serendipitous Photo Story Prompt
Everything is good about vacation except one thing. At times you are out of connectivity while traveling. There are days when you hardly get time to sit, relax and write. Hats off to the bloggers who are so organized that their posts appear on the reader even when they are away from computer.
Today finally when I got in touch I was overwhelmed to see myself as a featured blogger on Cee’s photography blog. Not that it was for the first time but every time my blog appears in the list it is a matter of pride for me. You can see my featured post here.
Next I saw Marilyn’s photo story prompt. How can I miss the fun? I like participating in it. This one is for you Mrs.Marilyn to cheer you up in absence of Garry. I can understand the pain and agony of what you shared in your post. We humans are selfish by nature and egos are larger than life. Anyway your friends love you that’s all. YOU FIT IT IN OUR HEARTS !Â
Busy month, busy schedule. My hands are full. My cook and helper both went on leave. When at home I’m struggling with house chores otherwise living on roads. We have been to near by areas and explored ancient Aurangabad caves (Â 12 artificial rock-cut Buddhist shrines located on a hill running roughly east to west )
The Aurangabad Caves were dug out of comparatively soft basalt rock during the 6th and 7th century. Sculptural carvings of Aurangabad Caves reached belong to highest achievements of Indian classical art. The site can easily be compared to the best paintings of Ajanta.Â
These caves are magnificent sculptures. They fall into three groups depending on their location. First group is 1-5, second is 6-9 and third group consists of 10-12 caves. cave 1 and 2 are unfinished viharas and cave 7 is most elaborate. Corridors, verandah and stair cases are beautifully carved with various Buddhist gods and goddesses. View was beautiful from the top. The combination of rocks and woods along with green ls something unique.
You feel as if you are in a different era, old, in fact very old. Enjoy some more pictures of these marvels of Buddhist art and architecture. I may not write regularly for few more days but will try to remain in touch with you all. Now time to meet some more friends. Hope Mr.Swiss is back at home and enjoying the company of Mrs.Angloswiss and her felines. I have to catch Andy, Amy, Cee and my other friends too. Have a great weekend.Â

Not only do I love your story and pictures, but I want your clothing. It is gorgeous and so are you. I have cambered around many an ancient ruin and been thrilled to be in the presence of such oldness, the sense that ancient spirits are lingering with the stones. I have missed you, but I’m glad you are busy doing things that bring you joy and satisfaction. Welcome back from your travels, however briefly. Don’t forget us on your ramblings 🙂
I can’t forget my friends. I get my daily dose of happiness and inspiration from you folks. I wish I could come and tell you this in person. Your kind words made my day ! Hey, I am blushing. This is a typical Indian attire which we normally wear if not choosing western wear. Thanks once again.
clambered. I really can’t write a whole sentence without at lease one or two major typos!!

It still amazes me to this day, Before drills and backhoes and excavators were invented that these amazing structures were designed, wow! 🙂
