Another beautiful flower from my garden is Chinese rose or Hibiscus rosa-sinensis which looks absolutely stunning and it is a multi layered flower in bright red colour. The shrub is 1 to 2 m tall. Generally the flower has five red or pink petals . The fruit is red hip 1 to 2 cm in diameter. This one looks like a rose because of more number of petals.
I have got the same flower in white which is equally beautiful. They are big flowers and attracts bees. Butterflies also love them.

in my childhood this was the main flowering plant in our garden 🙂
we used this either as offering for god or to boil water or make hair oil or to make flower and leaf paste for natural homemade shampoo…
Now i can hardly find them 🙁
We have it in abundance. We offer this one to Goddess Durga during Navratri Pooja. Thanks for the visit.
