The other day I was sitting in my garden admiring the pleasant weather. Trees were looking so green as it rained in the afternoon. There was no dirt on leaves and flowers were tilted to a side due to heavy down pour. Suddenly I saw my collection of terra cotta knick knacks in my garden. I grabbed my camera, clicked few photos, liked them and couldn’t delete to get rid of them.
These pics really don’t seem to fit into a common category. I think they can be included in this week’s Cee’s Odd Ball Photo challenge: week 29
The elephant and calfs, the bride and groom sitting on a camel as well as the flower vase are great conversations starters with the guests. They often like the mushrooms with holes used as garden lamps.
I love the second shot and especially the elephants, so cute 😀
Terrific odd balls for this week’s challenge. Marvelous find. 😀
Thank you Cee. I had fun playing for the theme.
Wow, those are really beautiful terracotta pieces. I haven’t seen work that intricate here. We get plain pots, but nothing like that. Beautiful!
These pieces are from Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. I had few pieces already. When Tarun went there he also bought elephants and camels.
What a special and beautiful collection you have. Thank you for sharing them with us. 🙂
Thanks Amy. I am fond of these knick knacks.
Aren’t they ? Thanks Kat.
Welcome to the challenge. Oddball photos are so much fun to find and these definitely qualify.
Thanks and so glad to be part of it.
Congratulations! I have selected this post to be featured Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge!
I sure hope you will have a fabulous week.
Thanks a ton for always inspiring and giving so much happiness. Sending you warm regards. Soul 🙂
You are so ver welcome. 😀
