Writing 201: Poetry: Water

Water is life, soothes the soul, quenches the thirst, rainfall

Diminish the hunger, gratify the farmers, bless the animal

Reduce the heat, drops to clouds, dance to peacock, monsoon call

Purifies the deity, washes the sins, fills the rivers, fertile the soil

Nourishes the garden, dissolve the dirt, strengthens the cement wall

Without it no existence, conserve it for generation next, an urgent call !
